Are you quietly devouring any of the following videos on the internet?:
“How to sing like…”
“Hit the high notes like…”
“Instantly sound like…”
A new year - or even every new day, week, or month - is an invitation for us all to find better ways of releasing tension in our lives; letting go of things that do not bring us peace, balance, and wellbeing.
Singing is also about having a tension-free instrument and eliminating every form of pain, stress, or force so we are able to joyfully express ourselves through our art.
As we approach Christmas and the end of another year, we may find tension creeping up in our lives mentally, spiritually, and physically. This is not an easy time for everyone. There is so much to do, so much to prepare for, and a lot of fretting mixed with reflection, nostalgia, and even depression as we look back on the year fast slipping away from us. We may be anticipating family get-togethers or being alone.
Sometimes in life we need to pause and take time to buddy up with someone who can be our champion or a second pair of ears, to listen to our hearts, hear us out, offer a new perspective, build connection, and find community. Before we know it, a whole new world of love and learning can then open up for us.
Fresh beginnings await us around every corner, if we know where to look.
Be Free To Sing is where adults can learn about the basics of finding vocal freedom that really work!
Do you want to sing as a hobby for yourself, your family, in the shower, for mental health, or another purpose? I offer group and one-on-one online training options in a supportive environment for adults who are absolute beginners or who have singing experience, all from the comfort and privacy of your home.
