Thank you for visiting the Be Free To Sing® website.  This website, developed by Be Free To Sing of Victoria, Australia (hereafter referred to as 'BFTS'), and the social media channels created for BFTS are provided as a service to the public (hereafter referred to as 'website users') to learn about the singing teacher and training being offered.

1. Website

1. "Be Free To Sing" is a registered trademark.  The information, images, videos, and any downloadable files on the BFTS website ('the content') are protected by copyright.  Apart from any fair dealing for the purpose of private study, research, criticism or review, as permitted under the Copyright Act 1968 (Commonwealth of Australia), no part may be reproduced or reused for any other purpose without due acknowledgement to the copyright holder.  The BFTS website pages may be shared on social media channels — with acknowledgement given to the copyright holder — for the purposes of disseminating the content as presented on these pages.  All other use is prohibited (except to the extent permitted by law) unless prior written permission has been obtained from BFTS after communicating with BFTS through the BFTS website's Contact page.

2. BFTS welcomes links to the BFTS website from other websites, however such links can in no way be construed to be an endorsement of an organisation's or individual's values/views, material, products or services.  Any link to the BFTS website on offline/online material must not create the false impression that BFTS is associated with or is a sponsor of the organisation or individual, or of the offline/online material, including a website/social media channel, on which the link appears.

3. The content, including contact details, for BFTS and any other organisations/individuals displayed on the website, is not permitted to be used for any deleterious purposes, including that of, but not limited to:

   1. harassing, stalking, threatening, spamming or unreasonably contacting an organisation/individual;
   2. issuing unsolicited items such as advertising material;
   3. disseminating defamatory, pornographic, discriminatory, offensive or illegal material;
   4. distributing material that breaches intellectual property rights or any other applicable law; and
   5. creating a false identity in order to mislead others as to the identity of the sender or the origin of a message.

4. Any prices displayed on the BFTS website and any other BFTS materials are in Australian dollars (AUD).

5. Any dates and times on the BFTS website are according to Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) or Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT), depending on the time of the year.

6. Age Eligibility: By enrolling in or registering for any BFTS training/group/session, you acknowledge that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age and eligible to join this training/group/session.

7. Excluded Countries: For insurance reasons, BFTS is unable to provide classes, lessons, and sessions to adults (aged 18+ years) who are residents of or located in countries/territories in North America, North Korea, Cuba or Iran.

   By enrolling in or registering for any BFTS training/group/session, you acknowledge that you are not a resident of and not in these locations.

2. Social Media

1. The social media channels created for BFTS comprise a X (formerly Twitter) account, a YouTube channel, a Rumble channel and a LinkedIn account that offer a space for engagement and connection with others online.  This includes, but is not limited to, sharing information on singing, music, and related training and events.

   Posts and comments/replies made by people engaging with BFTS' social media channels should be respectful of others.

2. BFTS reserves the right to remove, request removal of, and/or report any posts/comments/replies that are:

   1. promoting bullying, harassment, profanity, pornography or obscenity;
   2. using the name(s) or any other identifiable information, and/or image, video or audio of one or more persons, particularly those connected to BFTS, without the express written permission of the person(s) named, photographed and/or recorded;
   3. defamatory or overly critical of beliefs, individuals, services or organisations;
   4. misleading, inaccurate, offensive or harmful for any other reason;
   5. unlawful or inciting others to break the law; or
   6. spam / unsolicited posts promoting services, products, organisations, or political agendas.

3. Where necessary, BFTS also reserves the right to block users and to report misuse of BFTS social media channels to the social media platforms.

• BFTS social media channels are not normally administered outside of business hours.
• Comments/replies left by others on BFTS social media channels do not necessarily reflect the views of BFTS.
• BFTS takes no responsibility for any interactions social media users may have on or off BFTS social media channels.
• BFTS is not responsible for any posts or engagement on any unofficial or unauthorised social media channels relating to BFTS, including but not limited to the BFTS singing teacher or learners/participants.
