One-on-one Lessons: Newbies

Get singing training with the teacher by selecting one of the lesson paths below that provide:

  • structured lesson(s);
  • individual care and focus on your vocal needs; and
  • tips to begin unlocking your beautiful voice and sing with ease!

Further structured lessons can be accessed in the Beginner Singers Course: Part 1 that includes Interactive Resource Packs to enhance your Bel Canto learning and practice.

Details, duration, and cost to be advised - stay tuned via the website or express your interest to be directly notified by the teacher.


These lessons are not suitable for those already in a singing group or choir external to Be Free To Sing. This gives absolute beginners who have little or no singing experience, nor any vocal training / qualification prior to Be Free To Sing, the opportunity to learn on their own with the teacher. 

Be Free To Sing is based in Australia and all dates and times are according to Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) or Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) depending on time of year.

Delivery Mode

  • Minimum 1 x 60-minute online lesson held on a weekday at a time suitable for you and the teacher (AEST/AEDT)
  • One-on-one 

Who can register?

Adult beginners (aged 18+ years):

  • No prior singing or music experience required
  • Non-professional / hobby / at-home singers not in a singing group or choir external to Be Free To Sing
  • Seniors most welcome

What do I need to participate?

  • Internet connection
  • Computer/device with webcam (video camera) and audio
